Here is the procedure to gain approval from the TSA to train for an FAA  pilot certificate in the UK.

Step 1:

Go to www.flightschoolcandidates.gov and create a free new student account.  You will need to enter your personal information, passport information and create a username and password.

Step 2:

Make a Training Request.  This is required for any new category or class of aircraft OR instrument rating.  You must include all types of aircraft that you intend to use for your training at CAMFLIGHT.

Step 3:

Name CAMFLIGHT as your flight-training provider.  CAMFLIGHT will confirm this after the TSA contacts us about your training request.

Step 4:

You will then receive an email from the TSA with further instructions.  You will need to pay a processing fee, upload your credentials, and get fingerprinted as required by the TSA.  This email will include information on where to get fingerprinted.

Step 5:

Once you complete the instructions provided by the TSA, you will need to arrive at CAMFLIGHT and check in.  We will then need to confirm with the TSA that you have arrived and are ready to begin training.

Once we inform the TSA that you have checked in with CAMFLIGHT, we need to receive final confirmation from the TSA via email.  When this is received, you are ready to fly!
